HILLARYOUS FLASHBACK: Hillary Slammed for Being a Carpetbagger from the Most Unlikely of Sources

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]When Hillary Clinton left the White House, along with her philandering husband Bill, she didn’t move back to her home state of Arkansas. Instead, she and her family bought a house in New York because she wanted to run for Senate and perhaps thought her chances of winning were greater in such a liberal state. She had never participated in New York state politics and had no connection or allegiance to the state. She simply had her eye on a prize, the title and stepping stone of Senator.[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”5517620b381df”][vc_column_text]Hillary is once again seeking office, this time as President of the United States. (Maybe Bill wants to relive some of his favorite memories in the Oval Office.) Despite the fact that she is plagued by scandal after scandal, from Benghazi to Emailgate to the current Clinton Cash controversies, involving the selling of influence while she was Secretary of State via the Clinton Foundation, she still believes Americans will view her as trustworthy enough to not sell out the United States to foreign interests and enemies.

This Pizza Hut commercial, which pokes fun at Hillary, aired in 1999 during a World Series game between the New York Yankees and the Atlanta Braves. While the commercial doesn’t explicitly state that they are referencing Hillary, the female character and focal point is very Hillary-esque. She has short blond hair, is wearing a blue pant suit, speaks with a southern accent (like Hillary used to have) and the commercial references Arkansas.[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”553157113d3ff”][vc_column_text]One of the most Hill-arious parts of the commercial is when the character pokes fun at Hillary who went on a ‘listening tour’ to address concerns that she was a carpetbagger. After she describes the pizza, the Hillary-like character says, “How do I know so much about New York pizza? Cause New York, I want to be your next Senator!”
