If Hillary’s Words Had Been Uttered by a Republican, Democrats Would Be Calling for a Straitjacket

I am a Frasier aficionado. The hit show, which ran from 1993 until 2004, starred Kelsey Grammar as beloved radio psychologist Frasier Crane. One of my favorite episodes is The Candidate, which was episode 7 during season 2 of the show. In the show, Frasier’s dad Martin, a retired police officer, films a television spot in support of a ‘right-wing’ candidate who is running for Congress. Frasier and his brother Niles then turn their support to left-wing candidate Phil Patterson who, as it turns out, has some very interesting views, and claimed experiences, with aliens.

No, he wasn’t talking about illegal aliens. Frasier learns as he is filming his own television spot for his candidate that the man not only believes in aliens from outer space, he also says that he has rendezvoused with them. Needless to say, this revelation dramatically changed Frasier’s ability to do the commercial and it’s hilarious. But, little did I know that such a scene from a comedy show would become a reality and star the real-life, left-wing progressive Democrat Hillary Clinton, current front-runner in the race for the Democrat nomination to the presidency in 2016.

While Hillary was in New Hampshire on a campaign stop last week, she spoke with The Conway Sun. What she said during her remarks would have Democrats calling for a straitjacket and a psychological evaluation to determine mental fitness if the words had been uttered by a Republican.

Near the end of her interview, Hillary was asked about comments made by her philandering husband, Bill “Slick Willy” Clinton, when he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel’s show in 2014. At that time, Bill would not be surprised if aliens visit Earth. After all, many other planets support life. He added, “I just hope it’s not like Independence Day.”

In response to her thoughts on Bill’s words, Hillary added, “I think we may have been (visited already). We don’t know for sure.”

But, she didn’t stop there.

Hillary then went on to say that, as president, she would establish a UFO task force, crediting her campaign manager and former counselor to Obama, John Podesta, for helping her understand the seriousness of UFOs and the necessity to study them.

The Democrat front-runner Hillary, currently being investigated by the FBI, said, “He [Podesda] has made me personally pledge we are going to get the information out. One way or another. Maybe we could have, like, a task force to go to Area 51.”

Incidentally, the candidate featured in Frasier who believed he had rendezvoused with aliens ended up losing his election. America can only hope that Hillary, or whoever the Democrat nominee is, though she is presumed to be, will experience a similar fate.

Here is that hilarious scene from Frasier for those who are interested in viewing it. I literally laugh out loud every time I see it.
