Brigadier General Mohsen Kazzemeini, the top commander of the Tehran province for the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), has sworn that deal or no deal, Iran will continue on their weapons development until the day Israel is destroyed and Palestine is liberated.
On Wednesday and Thursday, 250,000 Iranian Basiji (volunteer) forces, 250 battalions total, started conducting drills in Tehran to prepare for security threats.
Still, the Obama Administration insists that the deal that they have secured with Iran will entail the means to inspect and ensure that Iran is complying with their end of the bargain, to deplete their stockpiles of nuclear material and slow their process for enriching such materials.
The general explained to troops on Wednesday,
“…they (the US and the Zionists) should know that the Islamic Revolution will continue enhancing its preparedness until it overthrows Israel and liberates Palestine.”
“And we will continue defending not just our own country, but also all the oppressed people of the world- especially those countries that are standing on the forefront of confrontation with the Zionists.”
In 2014, Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei spoke of the need to wipe Israel off the map, saying that the “Only way to solve this problem [of Israel’s continued existence] is full annihilation and destruction of the Zionist regime.”
This is hardly new. As Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry work to sell the deal to a suspicious America, Iran continues talking toughly and issuing repeated threats to the U.S.
On Thursday, Brigadier General Hossein Salami, the IRGC’s lieutenant commander, threatened to take the fight to America and her interests if they do not like what we do. “We monitor their [the U.S.’s] acts day and night and will take every opportunity to set fire to all their economic and political interests if they do a wrong deed.”

Salami, in May, casually explained that Iran welcomes war with the U.S., saying, (emphasis added)
“We have prepared ourselves for the most dangerous scenarios and this is no big deal and is simple to digest for U.S.; we welcome war with the U.S. as we do believe that it will be the scene for our success to display the real potentials of our power.”
Still, the Obama Administration asserts that criticisms of the Iran deal are merely lies and manipulations by the Republicans who seek to spread false information to undermine the deal that Obama hopes to be a legacy for his presidency.
Then again, this is the same president who swore repeatedly that Republicans were spreading lies and false information when they said that Obamacare would not allow people to keep their insurance and their doctors. Obama’s repeated promise to the contrary was the “lie of the year,” according to Politifact.
