Hillary Clinton is having a rough week. On Monday, she woke up to news that she is trailing four GOP presidential candidates in a poll out of the swing state of Iowa. On Tuesday, she received the devastating news that her once commanding lead over Socialist Bernie Sanders among Democrat voters in New Hampshire had eviscerated. She now trails Sanders 44 – 37.
On Wednesday, a leak regarding the FBI’s criminal investigation into potential top secret and classified emails on a personal server showed that her inner circle may have stripped email classification markings. Now, on Thursday morning, Hillary was sent the message that the Teflon shield of protection that was afforded to her by the Democrat Media Complex is peeling away.
The Hillary “What Difference Does It Make” Clinton campaign has been working feverishly to spin Emailgate and the FBI’s investigation as being all about nothing. Hillary herself has more than once adamantly claimed that there were no classified or top secret emails. But a FBI review of a sample of emails found at least four that were classified. This prompted their investigation, and Hillary has been mostly uncooperative in the process.

On CNN’s Inside Politics Thursday morning, the National Journal’s Ron Fournier chided the Hillary campaign’s attempted spin to marginalize the FBI investigation with their statement that Clinton herself is not the target of the FBI.
“Yesterday we had Hillary Clinton’s chief spokesperson actually argue that the central core of her argument and the spin document she put out is Hillary Clinton is not a target in the investigation,” Fournier said. “When you argue that technically your candidate is not the target of the investigation, you’re losing.”
This is typical Clinton spin. Hillary’s claims regarding potential classified and top secret emails on her personal server are reminiscent of her husband’s, Bill “Slick Willy” Clinton’s claims regarding his affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky while he was president.
In 1998, Bill Clinton appeared on camera, speaking to the American people, and adamantly claimed, “I did not have sexual relations with that woman.” His statement turned out to be false, just as Hillary’s claims about her email server are appearing to be blatant lies.
But then again, as Bill once famously said, it depends on “what the definition of ‘is’ is” when you’re talking about the Clinton crime family and their corruption.
