ISIS Slaughters Ethiopian Christians in New Video, But What Did Obama Discuss on Twitter

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On Sunday, ISIS released their latest propaganda video which featured the mass murder of Ethiopian Christians. Two groups were lined up and knelt down to await their fate. One group was shot. The other was beheaded. ISIS also had a message to America specifically, and also to Christians in all the lands they wish to conquer.[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”5517620b381df”][vc_column_text]To America, a masked man spoke in English with a North American accent. He said, “You will not have safety, even in your dreams, until you embrace Islam.” He added that Christians must either convert to Islam or pay a tax as required by the Koran. The terrorists also said, “Our battle is a battle between faith and blasphemy, between truth and falsehood.”

The video, which was released nearly two months after the beheadings of 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians by ISIS, showed 12 victims lined up in the desert and shot. Another 16 were lined up along the beach and beheaded.

Barack Obama himself did not address this latest massacre at the hands of these Muslim terrorists. Instead, a statement was released from Bernadette Meehan, National Security Council spokesperson.

The United States condemns in the strongest terms the brutal mass murder purportedly of Ethiopian Christians by ISIL-affiliated terrorists in Libya.  We express our condolences to the families of the victims and our support to the Ethiopian government and people as they grieve for their fellow citizens.  That these terrorists killed these men solely because of their faith lays bare the terrorists’ vicious, senseless brutality.  This atrocity once again underscores the urgent need for a political resolution to the conflict in Libya to empower a unified Libyan rejection of terrorist groups.

Meanwhile, on Twitter, Obama’s focus was elsewhere.

Barack Obama has made prolific use of social media since he began his campaign for president prior to the 2008 election. Though his administration has been the source of much mockery for their hashtag foreign policy, most notably for the weak message sent to Boko Haram from the regime to #BringBackOurGirls, Obama takes to social media often to make various announcements. But, the slaughter of these Christians in Ethiopia did not make the cut for Obama to address neither via a statement nor on Twitter.[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”553157113d3ff”][vc_column_text]On the official White House account and the official Barack Obama account, there was no mention of this slaughtering of Christians by Muslim terrorists. Instead, the focus from the White House was on a garden social, poetry reading, and the progressive propaganda push regarding ‘climate change.’ There were no postings at all on Sunday from Barack Obama’s account.

Would Obama have bothered to mention these murders at the hands of Muslim terrorists had ISIS said they were killing the Christians because of climate change? Makes you wonder, doesn’t it.
