Hall-of-Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice, the leading pass catcher (by far) in NFL history, added another touchdown to the record books. but this time, his torching of another player was completely verbal.
The former 49er great took to Twitter on Monday to weigh-in on America-hater Colin Kaepernick’s unpatriotic act of sitting during the Star-Spangled Banner during a recent pre-season game.
Jerry Rice pulled no punches, even using the politically incorrect term “All Lives Matter,” to combat the racist and divisive “Black Lives Matter,” a violent communist front group masquerading as a civil rights organization.
“All lives matter. So much going on in this world today. Can we all just get along! Colin,I respect your stance but don’t disrespect the Flag,” the legendary Rice wrote to Kaepernick, who lost his starting job to one of the worst quarterbacks in the NFL, Blaine Gabbert.
Kaepernick may have even bigger problems on his hands than being schooled by Hall-of-Fame greats. NFL insider Jay Glazer reported on Sunday that Colin Kaepernick is likely to be cut from the 49ers soon despite the second-string quarterback’s staggering $11.9 million guaranteed salary for 2016.
If he does get cut, it won’t be because of his shameful political stunt, but because of his poor performance on the gridiron.
“Regardless of politics or not, he has a very, very big uphill battle to make this team,” Glazer said on FOX Sunday. “I’d be shocked if he’s on the 49ers by the time this season ends. It has nothing to do with political views whatsoever. He lost a ton of weight this offseason, had three surgeries, couldn’t work out, lost that double threat, that size-speed ratio. No political views, he just hasn’t been effective. He’s regressing as a player. I’d be shocked if he’s on this roster by the end of this year. He may not be on it in the next two weeks.”
