John Bolton: Obama ‘Dislikes American Exceptionalism; He Dislikes Israeli Exceptionalism’

Former UN ambassador John Bolton, appearing on The O’Reilly Factor, said that while Obama does have personal animosity towards Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, more than that Obama has a problem with Israel’s success in the world, much as he despises America’s exceptionalism and has worked to knock America down a few notches.

“I think this is a deep reflection of Obama’s ideology,” Bolton said on Tuesday regarding Obama’s stabbing of Israel, America’s only true ally in the Middle East and the area’s only democracy, in the back.

“And he sees Israel in much the same way he sees the United States. He dislikes American exceptionalism; he dislikes Israeli exceptionalism. And I think he sees this as his way to set it straight. ‘They’re just one more country, just like the United States is one more country,’  and he’s going to try to affect that in his remaining days in office.”

“That’s what this vote was about in my view,” Bolton opined about the recent anti-Israel UN resolution.
