John Kasich: I ‘Respected’ Trump By No-Showing His Convention [VIDEO]

Ted Cruz gave a rousing speech, furthering constitutional and conservative values at the Republican National Convention last month, but Ohio Governor John Kasich, became the first governor in U.S. history to not attend a party convention is his own state.

On Sunday on “State of the Union” with CNN’s Jake Tapper, while appearing to take a swipe at Cruz, Kasich hysterically tried to defend his no-show — a protest to the nomination of Donald Trump — by claiming that his historic snub was actually somehow showing “respect to the nominee.”

That’s right, not only refusing to endorse Donald Trump but also not showing up at Trump’s convention in the state where Kasich is the governor, is showing Donald Trump “respect?”

That almost sounds as though another establishment RINO squish is trying to pave a path to join the “Trump Train,” doesn’t it?
