Rep. Keith Ellison , the far-left progressive with connections to terrorist groups Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, is the top name being pushed by Senator Bernie Sanders , Senator Harry Reid , and Senator Charles Schumer to head the Democratic National Committee.
The media has largely ignored extremely controversial and anti-Semitic statements made by Ellison as well as his connections to controversial figures and groups as the left attempts to usher him into leadership. They are too busy smearing the name of Senator Jeff Sessions , who has been nominated by President-elect Donald Trump to be Attorney General to focus on Ellison.
Ellison was scheduled to have an interview with the New York Times on Tuesday but canceled it when he found out a question they were going to ask. The topic he is attempting to avoid is very telling. When Ellison learned that the Times was going to ask him about his connections to rabid anti-Semite and Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, he canceled the interview.
The New York Times reported that in lieu of the interview, Ellison’s staff sent a list to his links to the Jewish community.
“Aides to Mr. Ellison were going to make him available for a telephone interview, but then declined when informed that he would be asked about his past comments on Mr. Farrakhan,” The New York Times reported. “They emailed a list of his links to the Jewish community and a statement that said, ‘Democrats need an organizer who will energize the grass-roots across this country to build the party from the bottom up.’”
Although Ellison attempts to evade his past with Farrakhan, their connection runs deep. When he was a student in law school at the University of Minnesota, he wrote numerous articles in defense of Farrakhan. He also worked with the Nation of Islam for 18 months. Prior to his election to Congress, Ellison revealed that he holds a similar belief system as Farrakhan when it comes to Jews.

A video surfaced recently of Ellison blaming Jews for 9/11 and claiming they benefitted from the terrorist attack which killed 3,000 Americans. Louis Farrakhan is also on record as stating that the Jews were behind 9/11. Farrakhan has also disgustingly claimed that God put the Jews in the oven during the Holocaust and has stated that white people “are a race of devils.” In August 2015, Farrakhan called for 10,000 blacks to rise up, stalk and kill whites, yet another controversy the media widely ignored.
Although the left and their media allies have attempted to portray Ellison as a “moderate Muslim” the reality of his radicalism can be seen in what happened at his victory party the first time he was elected to office.
Ellison won his congressional election on November 7, 2006, and has been re-elected every two years since then. At his 2006 victory party, a number of his supporters shouted “Allahu Akbar!”—the traditional battle cry of jihadists.
It is very telling that the Democrat Party, after being widely rejected by Americans who do not live on the lefty coasts, are pushing for radical, anti-Semite Keith Ellison to lead their party. His refusal to answer to his past, documented statements caught on camera or in writing should be a huge red flag that he should not only not be the DNC chair but is also an extremely dangerous person to have in Congress.
