Leftist Bullies Force Takedown of Veterans Memorial; Citizens Get Revenge

Veterans Memorial, Knoxville, Iowa

Some of the most intolerant and hateful bullies on the left are the God-haters in the atheist movement. The heathens on the left  are on the wrong side of history, unwilling to accept the fact that going back to the founding of our nation and our first president, George Washington, America has always been a Christian nation, despite the ramblings of pro-Islam Democrat Barack Obama, who is waging a war on Christians.

In the small town of Knoxville, Iowa, the city council voted 3-2 on November 2, to remove a veteran memorial display in a city park because — gasp — it had a cross on it, something the godless left will not tolerate. They prefer the religion of North Korea, the USSR and Nazi Germany, the false god of government, which they faithfully worship.

The city took down the silhouette of a kneeling American soldier in a position of prayer, next to what could be a cross-bearing grave, after an anti-God, anti-Christ group, the Americans United for Separation of Church and State, demanded that the city take it down. If the city refused to comply with their demand the group threatened to sue, reports The Daily Caller.

But it so happens that an election was taking place the very next day, and citizens of the town of under 10,000 immediately organized an electoral revolt to vote out the city council members up for election who voted to remove the memorial of the soldier and the cross.

Moreover, and perhaps an even bigger blow to the God-hating atheists, is that citizens of the small town placed approximately 2,000 white crosses in front yards to protest the taking down of the memorial.

Knoxville resident Doug Goff was thrilled to see the memorial removers voted out of office, saying, “If you’re not going to listen to Knoxville, Knoxville’s not going to listen to you,” according to Breitbart.
