Considering Donald Trump’s indisputable ties to the mob, including long-running financial “deals” with “Fat Tony” Salerno, the boss of the Genovese crime family, it’s very interesting that Eric Trump would use the famous fictitious Italian mafia crime family, “The Sopranos,” in the following tweet to attack Ted Cruz for his daddy:
It’s pretty clear what the implication here is. With the New York primary less than two weeks away, the younger Trump is more than hinting that Ted Cruz should be roughed up by a Trump Cult thug — or worse. No inciting violence, however, of course, just like daddy when he told Trump mobs to “punch in the face” protesters.
Don’t worry, however, you won’t find this on Twitter anymore, as it was soon taken down. Oh, and Eric, one more thing, before you highlight Daddy’s mob ties in an attempt to intimidate Ted Cruz and his supporters, you should know that The Sopranos were from New Jersey, not New York. At least, get your mob family right.
