Look Who is Now Going to Gavel in the DNC Convention

The clown show at the DNC convention, which begins Monday in Philadelphia, continues its complete and utter dysfunction.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz has resigned as the DNC chair after leaked emails revealed that she and other staff members were actively supporting Hillary Clinton and working against Bernie Sanders even though they were supposed to be impartial. They then replaced her with Donna Brazile, vice-chair of the DNC and CNN commentator, who was also implicated in the email leak. Now, the DNC has announced that Wasserman Schultz will not gavel in the convention. Instead, Stephanie Rawlings Blake will.

Do you remember Stephanie Rawlings Blake? She’s the mayor of Baltimore who gave anarchist protesters “space to destroy” in Baltimore after the death of Freddie Gray. Her words led to chaos and violence. Businesses were burned to the ground and/or looted as police stood by and watched while also being attacked. The reason the police did not engage is because they were given stand down orders.

Although Democrats are trying to claim that their party is united, the booing that Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Nancy Pelosi were met with tell a different story. The crowd booing when Bernie Sanders encouraged them to vote for Hillary tells a different story. The chants of “lock her [Hillary]up” from Bernie supporters tell a different story.

There is great unrest in the City of Brotherly Love as the Sanders supporters revolt. Will Stephanie Rawlings Blake encourage the DNC to give them space to destroy as well?
