Look What’s Still on Donald Trump’s Twitter Feed

Texas Senator Ted Cruz is speaking tonight at the Republican National Convention. He is being pressured by some to endorse Donald Trump, the GOP nominee for the presidency. Cruz supporters are being harassed, threatened, and insulted by Trump supporters who believe they should now bow down and get on ‘the Trump Train.’

But, an interesting discovery was made today on Trump’s Twitter feed by Bloomberg’s Steven Dennis that has many saying…THIS is just one of many reasons why Ted Cruz should not endorse Donald Trump.

Remember the unflattering picture of Heidi Cruz, Ted’s wife, that Trump retweeted on March 23, nearly FOUR months ago? You know, the picture tweeted by a white supremacist that Trump retweeted then refused to apologize for until over two weeks had passed? Well, that picture is still, to this day, on Donald Trump’s Twitter feed.

I also took a screenshot of this tweet just in case now, about two hours before Cruz is slated to speak, the tweet mysteriously disappears.

Kind of makes that “apology” when Trump finally said, “Yeah, it was a mistake. If I had to do it again, I wouldn’t have sent it,” seem a little meaningless, doesn’t it?

Here’s a little political history for you. After a contentious primary race in 1976, that actually pales in comparison to the smears from Trump hurled at Cruz and his family, Ronald Reagan never endorsed Gerald Ford. That tidbit is courtesy of famed Reagan biographer Craig Shirley.
