Major Tea Party Group Endorses Leftist Debbie Wasserman Schultz?

Say it ain’t so, right? What the hell is going on?! Okay, don’t worry any further until you read further. I can’t keep you in suspense any longer and it’s really not as bad as you might think. In fact, it’s not bad at all and is actually very funny.

The Tea Party Express, one of the nation’s largest Tea Party groups in the nation, has endorsed progressive leftist Democrat Debbie Wasserman Schultz over her primary opponent, Tim Canova, in her bid to be re-elected to Congress in Florida’s 23rd Congressional District.

The reason?

Tea Party Express hilariously contends that Wasserman Schultz has been such a disaster as chair of the Democrat National Committee (DNC) that it has helped the pro-liberty, pro-Constitution, American Tea Party movement thrive and prosper.

Taylor Budowich, Tea Party Express’s executive director explains the so-called “endorsement”:

“While both Wasserman Schultz and Canova share extreme liberal views that are damaging to American prosperity, the scales tip for us to endorse Wasserman Schultz because conservatives and the tea party have thrived during her tenure as DNC Chairman.

By continuing to press for a far-left agenda, Americans have rallied to tea party-supported candidates across the country,” Mr. Budowich said. “Her blatant partiality towards Hillary Clinton against Bernie Sanders has led to an acrimonious Democratic Party contest, and a likely contentious Democratic Convention. Why give up a good thing by having Wasserman Schultz defeated now?”

Wasserman Schultz’s opponent has been endorsed by Hillary Clinton wild-eyed socialist opponent, Bernie Sanders. The Sanders camp believes he has been jerked around by the Democrat Party, which has clearly favored Clinton and had hoped to have an uncontested primary.

Sanders revenge against Wasserman Schultz went further. He recently held a fundraiser for Canova in which $250,000 was raised, a huge amount for a congressional race.
