Man Exploits ‘Tolerance,’ CHOKES 8-Yr-Old Girl in Public Bathroom

The left loves to pretend that college campuses and the rest of society as a whole should serve as “safe spaces.” They assert that they have some sort of right to exist free from offense or discomfort.

Simultaneously, however, these same social reformers maintain that men and women don’t have a right to feel safe using the restroom or locker rooms.

This backwards thinking is not only mind-numbingly stupid; it is also dangerous.

For decades now, American society has been on a warpath with regards to strangers. We teach our kids to never get into cars with strangers, never accept candy from strangers and generally to always be afraid of strangers.

Now, we are supposed to teach them that if a grown man follows them into the bathroom, that that’s okay- they’re just “expressing their gender identity.”

One little girl paid the price for this indefensible position.

An 8-year-old girl was with her mother at Jason’s Deli in Chicago when she went to use the restroom. That’s when 33-year-old Reese Hartstirn allegedly followed her into the stall. When she tried to scream, the man began allegedly choking her. Thankfully, the mother and several others responded and the man was physically subdued by patrons until police arrived.

Hartstirn, charged with battery causing bodily harm, aggravated kidnapping of a child and aggravated battery of a child. He was also charged with aggravated assault of a peace officer after he took a swing at a police officer during booking.

Customers were naturally aghast at the episode and several reported their indignation.

“This is at a restaurant,” said Crystal Anderson. “You want your kid to be able to go to a bathroom in a restaurant and feel safe and not be scared… and not worry about someone trying to abduct your kid.”

“It saddens me,” said Kimberly Brown. “I don’t get why people do things like this. I really wish I could understand it, but I don’t.”

This man is obviously disturbed. However, let’s not pretend that recent debates concerning bathrooms are not going to lead to more instances such as these.

Allowing men to use the same facilities as little girls- what could go wrong?

This. This is what could go wrong.
