Marco Rubio Gets SHREDDED for Skipping Senate Budget Vote

GOP establishment presidential candidate Marco Rubio, the main author of the Rubio-Schumer Amnesty Bill, promised on Thursday to “oppose” the massive $1.1 trillion “omnibus” bill.

On Thursday’s Happening Now on FOX News, Rubio discussed the 2,009-page budget bill that conservative icon Rush Limbaugh called a “wet dream” for Obama and the Democrats.

“I know enough to say we’re going to oppose it, and I know enough to say that we should use every procedural aspect that we have to slow it down and perhaps force some changes,” Rubio said on Thursday.

Rush Limbaugh explained the implications of the bill on his popular radio program on Thursday:

“Sanctuary cities fully funded. All Middle East immigration programs fully funded. All these have been exploited by terrorists. Sanctuary cities fully funded! All refugees fully funded. The release of criminal aliens, fully funded. Everything — the Democrat, leftist, wet dream has just been paid for.”

Rubio’s open borders pal, leftist Democrat Chuck Schumer (Commie-NY) gloated about the bill passing both the House and the Senate, saying at a press conference on Friday:

“If you have told me — this year — that we’d be standing here, celebrating the passage of an Omnibus bill, with no poison pill riders, at higher levels above sequester than even the president requested, I wouldn’t have believed it.

But here we are. This bill is a great victory for the principles Democrats stand for.”

Well, as it turns out, Rubio apparently did nothing to slow down the bill, because Rubio didn’t even show up for the vote, and has missed more than half of the Senate’s votes since October.

Fellow Republican presidential candidate Rand Paul called for Marco Rubio to resign from his Senate seat if he isn’t interested in doing his job.

“It’s a trillion dollars in spending and I think earlier this week he talked about having some activity and then wasn’t here,” Paul told Politico on Friday. “So yeah I think it’s important to show up to your job. I think that really he ought to resign or quit accepting his pay if he’s not going to come to work.”

Instead of showing up for the $1.1 trillion budget bill vote, Rubio was busy selling calendars on social media, and got immediately shredded in response:

The Ryan-Obama Omnibus bill also fully funds dreaded Obamacare and the Democrat baby body parts chop shop Planned Parenthood, i.e., Planned Butcherhood.

What good is the Republican majority? In fact, what good is the Republican Party. They are not a conservative party and propose zero opposition to the Democrats.
