Constitutional scholar, best-selling author and leading conservative talk show Mark Levin blasted RINO Speaker of the House Paul Ryan for the failure of the Republican Party to keep its promise of fully repealing the Obamacare nightmare and replacing it with a free market competition system that will lower costs for all Americans.
Levin wrote on Facebook after the vote for Ryan’s American Health Care Act (AHCA) was embarrassingly pulled on Friday for not involving conservatives in the original writing of the bill and trying to force the scheme through, knowing that it had many of the Obamacare’s “big government ideas” and “essential elements.”
“The failure to govern is on the GOP leadership is on the GOP leadership,” Levin wrote, most assuredly referring to Paul Ryan , Kevin McCarthy , Steve Scalise and their fellow establishment RINO squishes.
Ryan’s bill, which was whole-heartedly supported by President Donald Trump, who campaigned on the full repeal of Obamacare, was roundly referred to as Obamacare 2.0, RINOCARE, Obamacare Lite, and Swampcare by conservatives with principles because rather than fully repealing the debacle, it simply amended it — meaning that a future Democrat administration could easily flip the switch to full-blown Obamacare — or worse — again.
Over the past several years, the GOP put forth 50 Obamacare repeal bills, including one that made it to Obama’s desk (he vetoed, of course) in 2015. However, rather than put the 2015 bill up for another vote for President Trump’s likely signature, Paul Ryan and GOP leadership put up a bill that is typical of RINO leadership who want big government like Democrats but think they can somehow manage it better than their liberal cousins.
