The Conservative Son of Ronald Reagan has a Stunning Announcement About Trump

Ronald Reagan’s conservative son, Michael Reagan, president of the Reagan Legacy Foundation, announced on social media on Monday, just one day before the California primary, that despite being a lifelong Republican, he will not be voting for GOP frontrunner Donald Trump, who is presently under fire for racist comments made about the judge in the multi-million dollar fraud lawsuit against defunct Trump University.

In addition, and perhaps even more impactful, Michael Reagan predicted that his father, Ronald Reagan, would not be supporting the bloviating billionaire and reality TV actor as well.

And…he not so subtly included RNC Chairman Reince Priebus, who has embraced the liberal New York billionaire as the Republican party’s nominee:

Of course, as you might imagine, it took about a New York minute for Trumpaloompas to hit back at Reagan’s proclamation, and needless to say, Reagan had the perfect response:

Unfortunately, Michael Reagan didn’t indicate who he would be voting for, but one can assume it’s not Hillary Clinton, which would be unfathomable for someone as conservative as he is. Perhaps he’s writing someone in or is not voting at all.

Ronald Reagan was a Democrat but became a Republican and fought for conservative and constitutional principles for decades, including eight years as a successful governor of California. He then went on to become the most successful president of our lifetimes and was once asked about his leaving the Democrat Party.

“I didn’t leave the Democratic Party, the Democratic Party leave me,” Ronald Reagan famously said.
