Appearing on CBS This Morning, GOP vice-presidential nominee Mike Pence addressed the numerous sexual abuse allegations that his running mate, Donald Trump, has been hit with ever since the release of the Trump Tapes, in which Trump bragged that he could sexually assault a woman and get away with it because he is famous.
Numerous women have come forward to affirm Trump’s disgustingly braggadocious statement with their own stories of how Trump sexually assaulted, accosted or abused them in some way. Trump has denied the allegations even telling his rally attendees to “look at her,” in the case of a former People magazine reporter who shared how he accosted her while she was in his home for a one year anniversary story about him and Melania, and ask yourself if he would have done that. Pence is not only standing by Trump, he told CBS This Morning that evidence will be released before the end of the day which prove Trump’s innocence.
Reiterating that Donald Trump has categorically denied the “unsubstantiated” allegations and stated firmly that he believes him. Pence then made this huge promise.
“Before the day is out, [there will] be more evidence publicly that shows and calls into question these latest allegations,” he said.
“Stay tuned. I know that there’s more information that’s going to be coming out that’ll back his claim that this is all categorically false,” Mr. Pence said.
We will be staying tuned, Mike Pence. For the sake of your own level of integrity and reputation, we hope your promise of evidence that the sexual abuse allegations are categorically false is both clear and substantial.
It’s interesting, however, that this ‘proof’ will be released on Friday, typically known as the document dump day when information goes into a weekend black hole and is barely covered by the media.
