Milwaukee Police Chief Comes Out AGAINST Second Amendment: Calls #2A Supporters ‘Beasts’

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Milwaukee Police Chief Edward Flynn apparently doesn’t understand the settled law of the land, the U.S. Constitution, and specifically, the Second Amendment’s clear and concise words, “shall not be infringed.”

In attempting to blame the City of Milwaukee’s recent uptick in violence on inanimate objects, Flynn joined progressive Democrat Mayor Tom Barrett in going after America’s Second Amendment by vilifying its supporters.[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”5517620b381df”][vc_column_text]Flynn, who slammed him with a humiliating and embarrassing “no confidence” vote of 99.3% in October 2014, said that Second Amendment supporters are “sleeping beasts” who would go away if they would only plug their ears of conservative talk radio, a thinly veiled shot at the First Amendment.

Edward Flynn No Confidence Vote

Police Chief Edward Flynn, not to be confused with Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke, a strong defender of the Bill of Rights and the Second Amendment, said in a press conference:

“One of the things to do is to rationally talk about the connection between violent crime and firearms without waking the sleeping beast of the Second Amendment defenders, who’ve never met a gun law they liked.

You know, if we could all turn off our a.m. radio stations for a couple of days in rational discourse about what it takes to affect the thinking of career criminals carrying firearms, we might make some progress here.”

Flynn, like progressive Democrat Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, a political opponent who was defeated twice by Republican Governor Scott Walker, blamed Walker for the cities crime uptick and requested more anti-Second Amendment gun laws.

No wonder he received a 99.3% “no confidence” vote from his own police union.

Here’s the “rational debate,” Flynn:

What part of “shall not be infringed” is so difficult for you to comprehend? And please explain why law-breaking criminals would be inclined to obey new gun laws when, in the crimes mentioned, they already broke several existing laws? Hmmm?
