On Monday morning, a shelter-in-place alert was given at Ohio State University. Early reports indicated that there was an active shooter so, like clockwork, those obsessed with gun control and making law-abiding Americans vulnerable, defenseless sitting ducks at the hands of criminals who do not obey the law immediately pounced. There’s only one problem. The shots heard were actually that of law enforcement who were taking the assailant down. The attacker, identified as a black male, actually used his car and a large knife in his attack.
Shannon Watts, founder of the anti-gun rights group Moms Demand Action and part of billionaire anti-Second Amendment advocate Michael Bloomberg’s Everytown for Gun Safety, took to Twitter to denounce “gun violence,” as if an inanimate object like a gun can commit violence, and lambast the Second Amendment.
Here’s the reality, the suspect, who was shot dead by police, did not use a gun. He began his attack with his car, then exited the vehicle, pulled out a large kitchen knife and began stabbing people with a crazed look on his face, according to witnesses.
OSU student Jacob Bower, 20, said he saw a man pull a knife outside between the Koffolt Laboratories and Watts Hall.
“He pulled a large knife and started chasing people around, trying to attack them,” Bower told CNN. He said it appeared to be a large kitchen knife.
“Luckily there were so many people, he couldn’t focus on one target. I didn’t see anyone get stabbed, but I saw the police officer take down the stabber. He waited till everyone was clear, and the stabber clearly wasn’t stopping. (It) took three shots to take him down. (The) stabber had a crazy look in his eyes.”
When asked if the suspect yelled or said anything during the attack, Bower told CNN: “He was completely silent. Which was very creepy.”
Watts still has her propaganda attacking gun rights on Twitter even though we know the attacker did not use a gun. But, hey, facts don’t matter to progressives when those facts go against their anti-America, anti-Constitution agenda.
Dana Loesch, radio talk show host and host on The Blaze, called Watts out for her insensitive exploitation of this tragedy.

Mental deficiency is putting it mildly. Let’s add sick and twisted into the mix.
Eight people were injured in the attack, though none of the injuries are described as life-threatening. The assailant was killed by police. Officials have said that motive for the attack is unknown but they are looking into the possibility of whether this was an act of terrorism.
