Monica Crowley Crushes Leftist Narrative That Jesus Was a Socialist [VIDEO]

Conservative columnist and commentator Monica Crowley crushed the progressive leftist narrative that Jesus was somehow a socialist — the left’s latest evil scheme to push the USA into something resembling the USSR.

Crowley, a FOX News contributor, appearing with Bill O’Reilly on The O’Reilly Factor, correctly noted that Jesus never preached “government coercion” as a means of helping your fellow man, but that the message to help the poor and needy was always in the context of a personal and individual responsibility.

At the same time, Crowley pointed out the often misquoted scripture, in 1 Timothy 6:10, “For the love of money is the root of all evil..,” which is usually misrepresented as “money is the root of all evil.”

“Jesus did not believe in government coercion to redistribute wealth or to demonize the wealthy — the biblical expression is the love of money is the root of evil, not money itself but it is the love of it that drives a wedge between you and God.”

“He [Jesus] believed in people taking care of each other, not through coercion, not through state force,” Crowley asserted.

This message should be shouted from the roof tops, as the left, which for decades told Christians and conservatives that “you can’t legislate morality,” and twisted the non-constitutional concept of separation of church and state into separation of God and state, are now trying to hijack the Christian image and bastardize the meaning of Christ into supporting anti-freedom, anti-American, anti-Constitution socialism — the ultimate hypocrisy.

It’s also worth noting that many of the “Jesus was a socialist” progressive leftists aren’t even Christians and don’t even believe he is the Son of God, but they’ll do anything to push their religion and false god — Government.
