MSNBC host Chris Matthews, the loud-mouthed leftist who infamously announced that he gets a “thrill” up his leg when hearing Obama speak, said that Hillary Clinton should “blow everybody’s mind” by naming a Republican as her 2016 presidential running mate to be her future vice president.[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”5517620b381df”][vc_column_text]Matthews’ pick? Republican Ohio Governor John Kasich, once thought to be a solid conservative, but who has fallen out of favor the past few years with his support of Common Core, i.e., “Fed-Ed,” expanding Medicaid by excepting federal Obamacare bribery, and for going limp on enforcing immigration laws.

“I’d like Hillary Clinton, I’d like to see her up about five or 10 points after her convention, or going into her convention, which is the second convention, and picking John Kasich and blowing everybody’s mind,” Matthews said. “That would just blow everybody’s mind. McCain talked about doing it, picking Joe Lieberman.”

Matthews admitted that Hillary Clinton picking Kasich is unlikely, but hoped that his mentioning it would “stir something” just by him mentioning it.
