[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]It’s no great secret that the New York Times has long been unhinged from accurate news reporting and is nothing more than a narrative spinner for the Democrat Party and big, intrusive government.
But as if the NY Times needed another blow to its already disgraceful reputation, its Nazi-like book burning operation in keeping Ted Cruz’s new book, “A Time for Truth”off of the New York Times Bestseller List, despite the fact that the book has sold more copies in its first week than all but two of the Times’ bestselling titles, is downright embarrassing to the “Old Grey Lady.”[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”5517620b381df”][vc_column_text]Rather than be honest about their censorship of Cruz, their hatred of Constitution-believing, freedom-loving conservatives, especially Hispanic ones, the NY Times is now confirmed to be lying about why they banned Cruz’s book from the list of bestselling books.
When the book’s publisher, HarperCollins, asked the Times why “A Time for Truth” was left off the list despite bestselling sales numbers, the old media empire replied that it did not meet their standards for “inclusion,” whatever that absurd excuse means.
But after getting pushback that the excuse didn’t hold water and lacked reasoning, the Times invented a new reason, that Cruz’s book sales were artificially ginned up by “strategic bulk purchases.”
However, HarperCollins hit back hard at that the Times’ accusation, saying that there is zero evidence of bulk sales and noted that The Wall Street Journal, Barnes and Noble, and Nielsen all listed Cruz’s book as a bestseller and all three have policies which omit bulk sales.
“HarperCollins Publishers has investigated the sales pattern for Ted Cruz’s book A TIME FOR TRUTH and has found no evidence of bulk orders or sales through any retailer or organization,” the publisher said in a statement.
On Sunday, major bookseller Amazon joined in on the discrediting of the New York Times’ charge.
“As of yesterday, ‘A Time for Truth’ was the number 13 best-selling book, and there is no evidence of unusual bulk purchase activity in our sales data,” Sarah Gelman, Amazon’s director of press relations, said in an email, as reported by Politico.
Cruz and his campaign team aren’t taking the NY Times lies and bias laying down. On Twitter, using the hashtag #ATimeForTruth, Cruz is calling for the Times’ to provide evidence of its claim of bulk sales or apologize:
