LOL! Newt Gingrich Explains Trump’s Appeal in a Way That is Less Than Appealing [VIDEO]

Trump surrogate Newt Gingrich said on Monday night that one of the main magnets of the bloviating billionaire’s appeal to voters is that he speaks at a “fourth-grade level,” so that your average American voter, who is apparently a dunce, can understand him.

Appearing on the Trump Hour (Oh, you didn’t know it was called that?) with Sean Hannity on FOX News, the former Republican Speaker of the House, who Hannity later said was his personal favorite to be Trump’s running mate, attempted to explain what has been called the “Trump phenomenon.”

Among other attributes:

“He speaks at a fourth grade level so that every American can understand him with a simplicity…”

Well, Trump did say that he “has the best words,” so maybe he’s onto something. The statement dovetails perfectly with Trump’s announcement following the Nevada Caucus that he loves “the uneducated people.”
