No, Tim Tebow is NOT Speaking at the GOP Convention

Tim Tebow announced that he is not speaking at the Republican National Convention.

It was widely reported this week that Tim Tebow was slated to speak at the Republican National Convention next week.

News outlets like the New York Times, CNN, CBS Sports, Sports Illustrated, were some of the major news media reporting the supposed speaking engagement, as part of the Trump campaign’s desire to fill convention speaking slots with celebrities and sports stars.

But there’s just one very big problem. It’s news to Tim Tebow, who just returned from the Philippines and knew nothing about speaking at the RNC, and told the world on Thursday that it was only a rumor and that he has no plans to speak.

This has to be seen as nothing less than an embarrassment for the Trump campaign, a campaign that already has problems in the credibility department.
