Now Trump Lied About Rev. Franklin Graham Speaking?

First Donald Trump announced that Tim Tebow would be speaking at the Republican National Convention next week and that turned out to be a blatant lie.

And now, the bloviating billionaire and reality TV actor, a lifelong New York liberal, has been caught lying about Reverend Franklin Graham speaking at the GOP convention?

It certainly looks so.

The Washington Examiner reported about Trump bragging about Franklin Graham’s supposed speaking slot (emphasis added):

“You know, when you have [Ultimate Fighting Championship President] Dana White and you have some of the people we have on … [Famed evangelist] Franklin Graham is going to be speaking and so many different people,” he said. “We have [retired Indiana college basketball coach] Bobby Knight, Coach Knight, who helped me so much in Indiana and elsewhere. I don’t know, I think it’s a really great group of speakers.”

But like it was with Tim Tebow, it’s news to Graham, as FOX News radio’s Todd Starnes, a Christian conservative, reports, Franklin Graham won’t be speaking.

As famous philosopher Ricky Ricardo might say, Donald Trump “has some ‘splainin’ to do.”
