Our rights are endangered and each and every day the sun rises over America, our rights become further eroded thanks to political correctness and tyrannical governments that struggle to insert themselves into every facet of our lives.
In New York City, employers now face stiff penalties for daring to recognize reality by calling transgender people by their “wrong” gender- or “correct” gender, however one wants to put it.
In short, calling a man in a dress a man will now incur the wrath of the city government.
The New York City Commission on Human Rights has issued guidelines to employers in the city instructing them on how they are to behave and speak in accordance with the delusion of those who identify as a different gender.
Employers who call a transgender person by their “wrong” gender, use the “wrong” pronoun or use the “wrong” name of the individual now face fines in accordance with anti-discrimination statutes.
“[City law] prohibits unlawful discrimination in public accommodations, housing and employment on the basis of gender,”the new guidelines read. “Gender is defined as one’s ‘actual or perceived sex and shall also include a person’s gender identity, self-image, appearance, behavior or expression, whether or not that gender identity, self-image, appearance, behavior or expression is different from that traditionally associated with the legal sex assigned to that person at birth.’”
Not only are employers obliged to validate the delusions of the mentally ill, but they are legally obligated to creep-out customers and other employees by allowing the transgender person to pick and choose what facilities they will use. The guidelines read,
“Refusing to allow individuals to utilize single-sex facilities and programs” is also forbidden. “Some people, including, for example, customers, other program participants, tenants, or employees, may object to sharing a facility or participating in a program with a transgender or gender non-conforming person. Such objections are not a lawful reason to deny access to that transgender or gender non-conforming individual.”
Yes, in modern America, it’s a hate-crime for a woman to want to pee without a man lingering about.
Before these employers consider throwing caution to the wind and speaking freely, the commission notes that “The Commission can impose civil penalties up to $125,000 for violations, and up to $250,000 for violations that are the result of willful, wanton, or malicious conduct.”
While these guidelines may have been intended to further the cause of the mentally ill, it will likely backfire. Who would dare risk hiring transgender people with these kinds of severe liabilities lingering? If a prospective employee threatens to make employees and customers uncomfortable and come with a risk of a $250,000 fine if the employee feels slighted, what, exactly, is the up-side to hiring them in the first place? These guidelines have done nothing but offer a disincentive for hiring transgender individuals.
Our rights are under attack daily in America and each and every day, they become more and more eroded. What is the freedom to worship if one cannot adhere to their religious principles without incurring the wrath of a vengeful federal government? What is our right to bear arms if it is so routinely treated as a privilege subjected to government approval?
What is freedom of speech if one cannot speak freely?
