Obama Regime TARGETS Activist James O’Keefe for Making Video that Embarrassed Obama

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Despotic regimes, by their very nature, cannot tolerate dissent. A cursory study of tyrannous regimes throughout history will illustrate that too-powerful regimes will often victimize dissenters and offer a punishment for having made the regime look foolish.

[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”5517620b381df”][vc_column_text]The Obama Administration behaves similarly when confronted with criticism. Press who do not coddle the president are often targeted for exclusion. Citizens who form groups to discuss lawful means of taking our country back have been persecuted and targeted by the IRS. And recently, conservative activist James O’Keefe witnessed firsthand the pettiness of the Obama Administration as he has been deemed as a potential security threat to the U.S. after he created a video illustrating how easy it would be for a terrorist to sneak into the U.S. without detection.

O’Keefe made the video last August where he dressed as Osama Bin Laden and snuck across a river into the U.S. to illustrate the point that many conservatives have articulated: the porous U.S.-Mexico border is a prime opportunity for terrorists who wish to sneak in without being detected. However, it seems the Obama Administration did not find O’Keefe’s commentary enlightening or amusing as U.S. Customs has declared that O’Keefe should from this point forward expect to be detained whenever coming into the U.S.

On Monday, as O’Keefe reentered the country, he tweeted a series of disturbing tweets indicating that he had been detained by Customs officials for having made the video and that officials told him that he will forever be detained whenever coming to the U.S.- “X-ing” out his passport so that he will be stopped and questioned. No, this is hardly being locked in the Gulag for 30 years, but it indicates a shocking disregard for our American liberties and is a dangerous precedent. Punishment, even petty harassment, of political dissidents is an unacceptable practice. Period. It was wrong when President Nixon did it; it’s wrong now.
