[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text](Investors Business Daily) – Eager to appear as if he’s doing something, anything, to combat ISIS terrorists, President Obama Wednesday applied another strip of PR duct tape to his ineffective ‘strategy.'[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”5517620b381df”][vc_column_text]Two days after publicly admitting he did not yet have a complete strategy to repel the advancing terrorist army estimated at 30,000, the president dispatched another 450 U.S. advisers to train Iraqi troops to do the fighting.
This brings the total number of American boots on the ground in Iraq back up to 3,550.
Here’s what that means in reality: There are now about 950 more American trainers in Iraq than there are trainees in Iraq.
Good luck turning the war around with that arrangement, despite the dedication, expertise and sweat of U.S. service personnel. It’s a clear sign Obama is running out the clock on his remaining 588 days in office and this mess of his own making with the 2011 hasty, total troop withdrawal.
It’s also a sign of Obama’s empty commitment to “degrade and ultimately defeat” ISIS. And other powers, friends and foes, can read that just as easily.[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”553157113d3ff”][vc_column_text]PLEASE READ MORE AT: Investors Business Daily[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
