After a two decade reign as the number one name in news not just for FOX News but for all cable news networks, Bill O’Reilly, host of The O’Reilly Factor, is officially out at FOX News.
FOX News’ parent company, 21st Century FOX, made the announcement via a statement released on Twitter.

“After a thorough and careful review of the allegations, the Company and Bill O’Reilly have agreed that Bill O’Reilly will not be returning to the Fox News Channel.”
Amid a firestorm following revelations that O’Reilly and FOX paid out over $13 million in sexual harassment lawsuit settlements, O’Reilly announced that he was going on vacation. He claimed that this vacation was pre-planned and told viewers he would return on Monday, April 24. Since the day he announced he was leaving the airwaves to go on vacation, there has been much speculation whether O’Reilly would return period.
Earlier on Wednesday morning, Matt Drudge of the influential Drudge Report sent a rare tweet which caused many to wonder if he knew something others didn’t regarding whether O’Reilly’s career at FOX News was over.
That question has now been answered and the speculation is over. Bill O’Reilly is officially done at FOX News.
