South Carolina Republican Governor Nikki Haley delivered the GOP’s response to the Obama State of the Union Address on Tuesday, using her moment in the limelight to slam the “angry voices” in the party, i.e., Donald Trump (and perhaps Ted Cruz). The GOP establishment and even the Obama Regime LOVED it.
But there was another GOP response, delivered in Spanish to reach out to illegal aliens, an attempt by the Republican Party establishment to out-pander the Democrats (an impossibility).
The Spanish-version was delivered by Republican Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart from Florida, and was translated into English by the Miami Herald. And while the message delivered by Rep. Diaz-Balart is eerily close to the words of Nikki Haley’s, there is one glaring difference in the messaging — the verbiage used on the issues of border security, illegal immigration, and specifically, amnesty.
Sounding like talking points lifted from the infamous “Gang of Eight” which pushed for the Rubio-Schumer Amnesty Bill, the Spanish version promised amnesty for illegal aliens in flowering sophistry, saying that the nation must provide a “legislative solution” that delivers a “permanent and human solution to those who live in the shadows,” that can only be achieved through immigration reform.
In other words, AMNESTY!
ENGLISH VERSION BY NIKKI HALEY: “We must fix our broken immigration system. That means stopping illegal immigration. And it means welcoming properly vetted legal immigrants, regardless of their race or religion. Just like we have for centuries.”
SPANISH VERSION BY REP. MARIO DIAZ-BARLAT: It’s essential that we find a legislative solution to protect our nation, defend our borders, offer a permanent and human solution to those who live in the shadows, respect the rule of law, modernize the visa system and push the economy forward.
It has been speculated that Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell approved Nikki Haley’s speech on Tuesday, a charge she has denied.
That may not be the real controversy here. The real controversy is who approved of Diaz-Barlat’s pro-amnesty speech.

Obviously, the dirty hands of the RINO GOP establishment are all over this.
