OOPS! GOP Website Announces Pence Winner of VP Debate Before it Even Started

Nobody is going to accuse the Republican Party of not having a rapid response team after this latest trigger-happy post on the official party website on Tuesday night before the VP debate between running mates Tim Kaine and Mike Pence even began.

KATU observantly noticed after visiting GOP.com that Mike Pence had been declared the VP debate winner, more than one hour before it was set to begin at 9:00 PM ET:

Perhaps even more embarrassing, the GOP had jumped the gun by listing Pence’s “top moments” during the debate, while declaring Pence, Donald Trump’s Republican running mate, the “clear winner.”

The next presidential debate, between Trump and Clinton, is this Sunday, October 9, moderated by Martha Raddatz of ABC and Anderson Cooper of CNN. Tuesday’s debate between Pence and Kaine is the only vice presidential debate scheduled.
