Trump Probably Wishes He Could Take Back This Tweet About Bobby Knight

The wannabe Tweeter-in-Chief is in trouble again for letting his fingers do the talking on Twitter, this time misspelling legendary Indiana basketball coach and fellow hothead Bobby Knight’s last name.

Monday morning, just one day before the important Indiana primary, Trump, who does his own tweeting, wrote “Bobby Night” in the following tweet, which was soon deleted by the bloviating billionaire and reality TV actor, after realizing that it’s probably not a good idea to misspell the name of an endorser you’ve been touting.

Media across the board have been obsessed with Ted Cruz referring to a basketball hoop as a “ring,” an unpardonable sin according to them, but at least he knows how to spell Bobby Knight correctly.

Moreover, the official NCAA rule book refers to the “hoop” as a “ring,” so if Cruz’s word usage was a gaffe, it was overblown by a media overly anxious to damage him in any way possible.
