The Team

The Politistick team has the perfect blend of youth, experience and diversity. Meet the Politistick team:

Jennifer Burke, co-founder and editor-in-chief for The PolitiStick, is a graduate of Texas A&M University and a certified teacher with 12 years experience in the classroom. She attended what is credited for being the first modern-day Tea Party rally in the country in the Seattle area and from there emerged as a powerful speaker and writer within the movement. While still in Washington State, Jennifer was selected to be a member of the second graduating class of the Jennifer Dunn Leadership Institute (JDLI), a program which identified future conservative leaders.

Jennifer worked as the National Outreach Director for one of the largest conservative groups in the country and served as Managing Editor and writer for what quickly grew to become one of the top 15 conservative sites in the country. She brings to The PolitiStick a passion for the fight for freedom for current and future generations.

Kris Hall, co-founder and COO for The PolitiStick, is a wife, mother and grandmother. After 12 years in the car industry, she decided to leave in 2010 in order to dive into the world of politics. Kris was not, however, interested in politics as usual. She wanted to help make a change and right the wrongs that have been done to our great Republic. She is a defender of the Constitution and wants to do her part in saving the country for future generations.

Working for one of the top conservative groups in the country, Kris served in an instrumental role in all the major events that were planned. Her diversity of skills led her to jobs ranging from database management and content creation to company administration and managing merchandise as well as any other hole that needed to be plugged.

Matthew is co-founder and CEO for The PolitiStick. A former Washington State U.S. Congressional candidate in 2010, Matthew attended the nation’s first modern day Tea Party in 2009 in Seattle, Washington. He also began writing and blogging that year. Matthew became a Certified Financial Planner in 1995 and was a Financial Advisor for 24 years, including Vice President – Wealth Management at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.

Matthew was one of the three main writers leading a conservative news site to be one of the top 15 conservative news sites in the U.S. in a matter of months. He brings to PolitiStick a vast amount of knowledge about economics as well as a passion and commitment to the vision that our Founding Fathers had for our Republic.
