OUTRAGEOUS: Dem Congressman Says Kate Steinle’s Murder by an Illegal is Just ‘A Little Thing’

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]A beautiful young woman, Kate Steinle, was murdered by an illegal immigrant who had safely dodged deportation and accountability for his crimes by residing within the sanctuary city of San Francisco. Since her murder, the left has pretended that conservative outrage is unjustified, that concern over illegal immigration is, somehow, unwarranted.[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”5517620b381df”][vc_column_text]While virtually every other nation on Earth maintains border security, the notion that America should do similarly is, to the left, a racist notion.

To further shrug-off this danger, Illinois Democrat Rep. Luis Gutierrez, an ardent supporter of illegal immigration, dismissed Steinle’s murder as a “little thing” that has been blown way out of proportion.

If it were his daughter that had been murdered, it’s likely he would not hold such a cavalier attitude about the young woman’s murder.

Telemundo, the large Spanish-language network, was in the sanctuary city of Chicago to report on a recent poll that indicates that a whopping 62% of people want an end to sanctuary cities where the rule of law does not apply.

Discussing this and Republican reactions, Gutierrez callously explained,

Every time a little thing like this happens, they use the most extreme example to say it must be eliminated.”

Sure- it’s just a “little thing.” Americans are being killed by illegal invaders who have no right to be here and even worse than shrugging it off, Democrats pretend that it is unreasonable to ask our government to enforce the laws they have sworn to enforce.

Janet Rodriguez, the Telemundo correspondent, an evident supporter of illegal immigration, noted,

“Many of the immigrants, especially the undocumented, today told us they feel very tranquil being able to walk without pressure from authorities or immigration, and assure that eliminating sanctuary cities would be a big blow to the community. Here, immigrants walk without fear, without concern for his or her immigration status.”

Yes- criminals often enjoy it when they no longer have to fear consequences for their crimes. It must be very freeing.

Rodriguez also claimed, “[I]t has to be emphasized that the poll reveals that the majority of those who agree on eliminating sanctuary cities or that in some way they lose federal funds, all are Republicans.”

However, Rodriguez’ claim is a flat-out lie, as Newsbusters reports:

“[T]he poll actually indicates that 79% of Republicans, 61% of unaffiliated voters, and 46% of Democrats believe sanctuary cities should lose federal funds. Similarly, 79% of Republicans, 65% of unaffiliated voters and 43% of Democrats support U.S. Justice Department legal action against sanctuary cities.”

It’s unconscionable that we have reached a point in America where a young woman was murdered, and those who seek to create the necessary changes to protect innocent lives are denounced as bigots.

It’s even more unconscionable that we have a zealot that deeply cares so much more about the plight of foreign criminals than that of a woman who was murdered and which he so-callously described as “a little thing.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
