Pelosi Jumps Shark on Obamacare Repeal: ‘Do You Want Grandma Living in the Guestroom?’

Democrat minority leader in the House Nancy Pelosi , in trying to cram Obamacare down Americans’ throats, infamously said that “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in the bill.” The 2,700-page bureaucratic nightmare known as Obamacare has never been workable or popular and seven years later, the American people have spoken at the election booth, giving Republicans an opportunity to repeal the failed monstrosity that failed to deliver on every one of its promises.

The gnashing of teeth from progressive leftists like “San Fran Nan,” a California communist, over the prospects of the repeal of Obamacare has been more than hilarious to watch. It’s as if life didn’t exist before Obamacare was rammed through with 100 percent support from Democrats and zero support from Republicans. It was deemed to be a century-long dream from the progressive controlist left to have government take over the healthcare business.

During a press conference on Wednesday, Nancy Pelosi continued Democrats desperate attempt to save failed Obamacare, which was passed during Pelosi’s short stint as Speaker of the House, jumping the shark with a ridiculous and incoherent rant in which she proclaimed that granny might have to move in:

“If you’re a senior, you know Medicaid, almost half of Medicaid is about long-term healthcare. Do you want grandma living in the guest room? You repeal the Affordable Care Act. You go along with — this is part of an initiative that is part of the Ryan budget, that says we’re going to voucherize Medicare, we’re going to block-grant Medicaid.

So this has a tremendous assault on the health and health security and financial security that goes with what the Affordable Care Act [Obamacare] has done for the American people.

And so, Medicare, if you’re a senior, you know almost half of Medicaid is about long-term healthcare. You want grandma living in the guestroom?”

Notice how she’s conflating Medicaid, a welfare program that has nothing to do with Obamacare, in an evil attempt to try to scare seniors. And she’s suddenly back to the Orwellian-inspired name “Affordable Care Act” instead of Obamacare — a sleazy attempt to protect Obama from his signature failed legislation which is about to tarnish his legacy.
