Doug Lindaman, 59, is a “progressive” candidate for the Charles City School District Board of Education (Iowa). He has collected 92 signatures and has met all criteria to qualify to be on the ballot.

The progressive Lindaman, an out of the closet homosexual, is a child molestor, previously sentenced to serve two consecutive five-year prison terms for sexually abusing two boys, ages 11 and 16-year-old.

One of Lindaman’s ridiculous defenses, according to The Globe Gazette, was that he and the 11-year-old boy had a “marriage-like relationship,” and he once wrote that a judge involved in his cases should be castrated to “control his heterosexual urges handling evidentiary matters.”

In a 2010 letter to the editor of the Courier, Lindaman said he has “a mental disorder of eg0-dystonic homosexuality.”

“My legal infraction is 28 years old and is old news. I paid my debt to society,” Lindaman wrote in an email to The Courier. “I would appreciate a halt to the character assassination. I have been a productive citizen in the democratic process. I have been operating a farm livestock operation for the past 25 years. I have been richly blessed with friends and family in this community and wish to be a progressive public servant who can focus on numbers to solve issues,” Lindaman added.

In legal writings, Lindaman explained his deviant and perverted behavior as having “researched” his sexuality with underaged boys, blaming his behavior on growing up gay in a homophobic society.

The pedophile progressive’s candidacy was made possible by former Governor Tom Vilsack, who issued an executive order in 2005 which allowed perverts to run for public office once their time had been served.
