The Verdict is in for the Last Three Officers in the Freddie Gray Case

Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby

When Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby charged six police officers with the murder of Freddie Gray, who died in the back of a police van while in police custody, even liberal attorney Alan Dershowitz criticized the charges. Dershowitz said, “The decision to file charges was made not based on considerations of justice, but on considerations of crowd control.”

On Wednesday morning, the remaining officers awaiting trial received excellent news. The State of Baltimore has dropped all charges against the remaining officers.

Each of the other officers who have had their trial either had a mistrial or a judge found them not guilty. Mosby was criticised as overcharging the officers with no evidence to match the charges the police officers faced.

Following the death of Freddie Gray, the city of Baltimore burned for numerous nights as Black Lives Matter anarchists used it as an opportunity to burn buildings, cars, and loot businesses.
