Remember the National Police Force Obama Promised in 2008? It May Become a Reality

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]While campaigning for the presidency in 2008, Barack Obama advocated for a National Security Force as strong and as well-funded as the United States military. Following the death of Freddie Gray while in police custody and the subsequent riots, mayhem and anarchy that ensued in Baltimore, MSNBC’s Al Sharpton headed to Baltimore on Thursday. Sharpton, never missing a chance to exploit a situation, especially one in which he can use the race card, announced that he would be leading a march from Baltimore to D.C. His objective, the racial grievance industry profiteer said, is to demand that the Department of Justice take over the police departments throughout the country.

[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”5517620b381df”][vc_column_text]Sharpton clarified his remarks so that there is no question what he desires. He even made sure to throw states rights, and therefore the Constitution, out the window with his demand.

The Baltimore Sun has a video clip of Sharpton’s remarks. He said, “We need the Justice Department to step in and take over policing in this country. In the 20th century, they had to fight states’ rights in — to get the right to vote. We’re going to have to fight states’ rights in terms of closing down police cases.

Sharpton said he doesn’t think all police officers are bad, but those who do wrong must pay. Because of the actions of a few, Sharpton believes there should be a complete federal takeover of the police. Obviously, Sharpton has little faith in the judicial system and believes that the only way to get the justice that he wants is to have the Department of Injustice Justice, now led by another activist attorney general, Loretta Lynch, with little allegiance to the Constitution, to take over the police departments through America.[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”553157113d3ff”][vc_column_text]Despite owing nearly $5 million in back taxes, Sharpton has remained a key ally and adviser to Obama. In December 2014, it was reported that Sharpton had visited the White House an astounding 61 times since 2009. These are just the visits that were logged into the White House visitor log.

Remember, the Obama regime has not been completely transparent with the visitor log and have kept numerous entries secret. It also does not reflect the open communication via phone, text, and email between Sharpton and key officials in the Obama regime, nor does it reflect meetings that may have taken place outside the White House.

Is it coincidental that Obama key ally in the media and adviser, Sharpton, is calling for the very thing that Obama said he wanted in 2008, a civilian security force as powerful as the military? Perhaps it could. But, given the dirty dealings of the Obama regime, and the coordination with certain groups to push his agenda, the exact opposite is very likely true. Sharpton and Obama could be in collusion in a federal takeover of local police departments.

Is that the change that Obama wanted us to believe in?
