REPORT: It Took Multiple Calls From Obama to Convince Hillary to Concede

As you may remember, corrupt, power-hungry Democrat Hillary Clinton didn’t concede the election on the evening of November 8, even though the election was over and she had clearly lost — by a lot — when the electoral college tally guaranteed her stunning loss to Donald Trump, a political newcomer.

Instead, Hillary waited until the next morning to concede but only after a massive effort from Obama, his team and others who made multiple calls to both Hillary and her campaign team, trying to convince her to wave the white flag.

Needless to say, it took a lot of prodding from the highest levels to get Hillary to throw in the towel.

“POTUS doesn’t think it’s wise to drag this out,” White House political director David Simas said to Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook after Hillary had clearly lost, according to the new book, Shattered by Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes.

After that call fell on deaf ears, Obama himself gave Hillary a ring, saying according to the book, “You need to concede,” a request also made to weasel-like Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta after that call.

According to the Washington Post, things got a bit nasty and chaotic as the unexpected results were concluded and Obama didn’t want a “messy recount.”

As fear gave over to dread in the Peninsula Hotel, the Clinton campaign reacted as you might expect: Bill became furious, Hillary turned stoic, and their cocksure aides started to blame one another. It wasn’t long into the night before Bill Clinton called his old pal, Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, and told him not to bother coming to New York. There would be no victory to celebrate.

Shortly after 11:00 p.m., after Wisconsin was called by Fox News, Allen and Parnes report that the campaign fielded a series of calls from the White House pushing Hillary Clinton to concede, even though the margins in many states were extraordinarily close. President Barack Obama thought it was over and did not want a messy recount.

According to the authors, Hillary Clinton begrudgingly finally said, “Give me the phone” and then said the words she never thought she’d have to utter, “Congratulations, Donald.”

Clinton then spoke again to Obama, softly saying, “Mr. President, I’m sorry.”

Hillary Clinton ran as Obama’s third term, something he desperately wanted as his legacy — his policies intended to knock America down a notch — were at risk of being reversed.

Since then, Hillary Clinton has blamed everyone and everything for her devasting loss, the Russians, WikiLeaks, fake news, emails, etc. She is unwilling to accept the fact that she was the most unlikeable and untrustworthy Democrat presidential candidate in American history, had no campaign message, zero charisma, and stupidly and arrogantly ignored rustbelt states she thought she had sewn up — states that had voted for Obama twice and Democrats for decades before switching to Donald Trump.
