REPORT: Trump’s Pick for VP is In

Roll Call is reporting that Donald Trump has made his decision on who will be his vice-presidential running mate should he survive attempts by #FreeTheDelegates to prevent him from becoming the GOP nominee.

A source shared that Donald Trump has selected Indiana Governor Mike Pence as the one who will receive his rose in the Veepstakes race.

Trump met with Pence on Wednesday in Indiana. He had also met with Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, who was flown to the meeting courtesy of FOX News’ Sean Hannity. In the end, Trump selected Pence for the following reasons.

In addition to testing the men’s chemistry together, Trump was reportedly impressed with Pence’s calm demeanor, his experience on Capitol Hill and as a governor, and Pence’s potential to assist Trump in governing, should the ticket win in November.

The introduction of Trump’s running mate will be made formal at a press conference at Trump Tower on Friday at 11 am.
