Sen. Mike Lee Makes an Extremely BOLD Prediction About the GOP Convention [VIDEO]

Sen. Mike Lee , interviewed by Dana Loesch on The Blaze TV, predicted that not only will Ted Cruz win the Republican presidential nomination, but that the constitutional conservative will “very handily” win the nomination at the GOP convention in Cleveland in July.

Mike Lee, a constitutional scholar who Ted Cruz has hinted as being a potential Supreme Court nominee in a Cruz administration, cited the Cruz campaign’s superior ground game and organization of delegates as reasons why Cruz will win at what is very likely to be a contested convention because neither Cruz, nor bloviating billionaire and reality TV actor Donald Trump will obtain a majority — the magic number of 1,237 — of delegates required to win on the first ballot.

Lee said that the Cruz campaign is having “enormous success” getting Cruz-friendly delegates elected.

“He [Ted Cruz] has undertaken a very concerted effort to make sure that, as the individual delegates are selected, those are delegates who are likely going to be sympathetic to him.

He’s got by far the best ground game out there among these presidential campaigns and they’re having enormous success recruiting people to run for delegate positions. And I predict that he will very handily win the nomination at convention .”
