Sheriff David Clarke: Baltimore Rioters Would Shoot and Kill Freddie Gray if He Bumped Into Them in a Nightclub

Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke appeared on FOX News’ Your World with Neil Cavuto on Monday, weighing in on the violent Baltimore riots occurring in charm city.

The outspoken and articulate Sheriff Clarke identified failed liberal policies as being at the root of the problem in Baltimore as well as others that have been dominated by the Democrat Party’s leftist policies for several decades.

“Like Baltimore, like Ferguson, like New York and many other areas where failed liberal government policies have led to high unemployment, chronic poverty, failing schools — this is what besets the Baltimore area: 90% of the homicide victims in the Baltimore area are black, as are 90% of the suspects. That’s a bigger problem than Freddie Gray,” Sheriff Clarke told Cavuto. “And I’m not trying to dismiss the death of Freddie Gray,” he said.

“But these individuals that are rioting and looting right now, throwing rocks and bottles, do not know Freddie Gray, and if they were in a nightclub in Baltimore, would shoot and kill him for bumping into them on the dance floor,” Sheriff Clarke contended.

Baltimore’s black Democrat Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake has been sharply criticized for saying that under her leadership, the city “gave those who wished to destroy space.
