Smiling Mother’s Mugshot Shows What Little Respect Our Society has for Life

Apparently for this smiling mother, riding in a Corvette was more important to her than the health, well-being, and safety of her children.

Twenty-nine-year-old Jessica Reger, from Pennsylvania, was riding in the passenger seat of a Corvette when the car was pulled over by police. Someone had called the police to report that Reger put her children in the car’s trunk. When police opened the trunk, they found her 3-year old and 5-year old inside.

When she was booked into jail, Reger had a huge smile on her face. Obviously, she thought the fact that she endangered the lives of her children and is now facing two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of children and recklessly endangering another person was funny. Her bail is set at $2,500.

This is what happens in a society that pushes the sick notion children are disposable.
