The folks at Saturday Night Live opened with an epic mocking of the lengths Trump sycophants will go to in order to justify their membership in the Trump cult — endlessly defending whatever indefensible thing their dear leader has done — past or present — no matter how despicable or reprehensible.
SNL’s example is former Tea Party News Network (TPNN) news editor and current chief political correspondent with USA Radio Networks, Scottie Nell Hughes, the unhinged bleached blond who sprinkles cable networks with incoherent rants of diehard support of Trump, without mastering the ability to speak in complete sentences.
Just last month (in real life — not the SNL skit), Scottie Nell Hughes opined that riots “aren’t necessarily a bad thing,” after “Mr. Trump” repeatedly encouraged his rally attendees to use violence to quell protesters.
Needless to say, SNL nailed it. Trump worshippers will literally defend anything the bloviating billionaire and reality TV actor does or says, including Trump’s attack against Ted Cruz’s wife.
