[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Republican voters were promised ad nauseam before the 2014 midterms that if they would only give the Senate a majority, under the leadership of mush-mouthed RINO squish Mitch McConnell, that the party would then have sufficient power to finally fight back against Obama’s unconstitutional royal edicts.[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”5517620b381df”][vc_column_text]GOP voters were told that Obamacare would be defunded, that Obama’s illegal amnesty would be knee-capped and that the massive deficit spending would stop if only Republicans controlled the Senate like they already did the House of Representatives. They were promised that Obama would be effectively neutered, and at least he would transition into lame duck status, saving the country from being inflicted with further damage.
Instead, RINO Leaders John Boehner and Mitch McConnell have bent over at sharp angles, funding Obamacare, Obama’s illegal amnesty, while continuing to run deficits in the hundreds of billions. Rather than move into the lame duck period of his presidency, Obama has, what talk show great Mark Levin called, the ability to put on his “inner Mussolini.”
The lies and broken promises from Boehner, McConnell et al. are taking their toll on Republican voters, according to new polling data from Pew Research, which shows that GOP voters are sharply disappointed in the Republican-dominated House and Senate.
As you can see from Pew’s research below, only an embarrassing 37% of Republicans say that their party’s leaders are keeping their campaign promises, while a majority, 53%, say they are not. Both numbers are in sharp contrast to prior periods in recent history when Republicans were in control.
Among the so-called “coveted” Independent voter, McConnell and Boehner are doing even worse. Just 20% think the dynamic duo are keep their promises.
By comparison, in 1995 when Republicans controlled the House and Democrat Bill Clinton was the president, 80% said that GOP leaders were keeping their promises.[/vc_column_text][banner300 banner=”553157113d3ff”][vc_column_text]And while RINO McConnell touts his new love affair with Obama, only 7% of Republicans in the poll desire more cooperative behavior with Obama, while a full three quarters “want GOP leaders to challenge Obama more often.”
It’s obvious that not only are McConnell and Boehner not listening to the voters who elected them, but are clearly at war with them.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
