Soul singer Sharon Jones, 60, had been suffering from pancreatic cancer for a few years. On election night, Jones suffered a stroke and blamed….President-elect Donald Trump. She suffered a second stroke the day after election day and died this past Friday.

Gabriel Roth, Jones’ bandmate, said, “She told the people that were there that Trump gave her the stroke. Well, she’d been fighting, fighting cancer for a few years now, and there’s been all kinds of stuff coming at her. But the thing that actually got her in the last couple of weeks was, she had a stroke watching the election results.”

Roth added that despite the stroke, Jones could still speak and let everyone know that she blamed Trump. “She was blaming Trump for the whole thing,” Roth claimed.

This is not to make light of Roth’s death, which is very sad. But, it is also very sad that she would blame Donald Trump for her health condition.
