Barack Obama is desperately trying to not only fundamentally transform America by ushering in millions of illegals with his illegal amnesty scheme, he is doing so while thumbing his nose at the Constitution going well beyond his legal bounds with executive actions, then hoping activists on the Supreme Court will back his unconstitutional acts.
Earlier this year, Obama heard the words from the Supreme Court that petulant children don’t want to hear. NO. The Obama regime had pushed for SCOTUS to overturn a lower court decision which prevented him from executing his illegal amnesty via executive order. Following the untimely death of Justice Antonin Scalia, Obama pushed once again to force his unconstitutional acts on sovereign states.
On Monday, Obama was smacked down once again in his illegal amnesty scheme by the Supreme Court as they refused to hear the case thereby once again letting the lower court ruling against his illegal amnesty executive orders stand.
The Supreme Court refused Monday to reconsider President Obama’s proposed overhaul of the nation’s immigration system following a tie vote in June that blocked its implementation.
The eight-member court’s order shut the door on a plan that already seemed all but dead a few months ago. The court declined to wait until a ninth justice is confirmed and seated in order to rehear the case — and possibly reverse its June decision.
The decision was applauded by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who led a group of states in seeking to invalidate the plan. “Rewriting national immigration law requires the full and careful consideration of Congress,” he said. “This is the latest setback to the president’s attempt to expand executive power and another victory for those who believe in the Constitution’s separation of powers and the rule of law.”
Texas Governor Greg Abbott also boasted about the smackdown received by Obama from the Supreme Court as a great victory for the Lone Star State.
