Ted Cruz Just Made a Huge Announcement About His Future and the DC Cartel Won’t Be Happy About It

Texas Senator Ted Cruz , fresh off a grueling GOP presidential primary in which he came in a surprising second place, made an announcement that the corrupt political establishment in both parties — the Washington Cartel — will not be thrilled with.

Cruz, who has been a thorn in the side of the “go along to get along” crowd in both parties since entering the Senate in 2012, announced on Wednesday that he would be seeking re-election to his Senate seat when his term expires in 2018.

CNN reported that Cruz answered “yes,” when asked about his re-election aspirations, but didn’t elaborate further.

CNN further reported that several senators welcomed Cruz back to the Senate floor, but establishment types like RINO Surrender Caucus Leader Mitch McConnell , RINO John Cornyn , and leftists Harry Reid , and Charles Schumer completely ignored Cruz even though he was only a “few steps away.”

The man former Speaker of the House John Boehner recently referred to as “Lucifer” and a “miserable son of a bitch” told reporters upon his return, obviously tongue-in-cheek, “It’s great to be back in the warm embrace of Washington.”
